Im considering making a discord server for the rct series, would anybody be interested in joining it?

As it so happens, RCTgo actually has its own Discord server. The blue button that links to it can be found on the main forums page between the Featured Download and the Latest Posts section on the right hand side.

Great idea! Go ahead if you like, but there is already a RCTgo server as Terry mentioned. You may have more luck there!
