Ogs Land - New Park - Screens inside! - Nook29 - Apr 20, 2006 After Thrill City had to be abandoned, I set to work on a new park, one that I am hoping will better Thrill City. Please say if you think it is better so far. This is a shot of my custom KFC stall amongst the trees, near the back of the park. This picture shows the pool at the back, and it's spiral slide. Sadly, no peeps have ventured back this far yet. If anyone has any tips on getting them all the way back here, they'd be welcome! Here, you can see the indoor concert in full swing, the fans rocking out! Here's a shot of the bridge going over the small lake, waterfall in the background. A riverside eating area is on the other side. This picture show the pool by the park entrance, and it's two slides. This shot shows the thrilling ride "High Swing", it's structure high above the trees. The board outside just says Swing. You can see a number of tall things in the distance, including a hill with a waterfall. RE: Ogs Land - New Park - Screens inside! - Jag100 - Apr 20, 2006 looking great. keep up the great work RE: Ogs Land - New Park - Screens inside! - Shaun Allsop - Apr 20, 2006 hmmm Its ok but, yes im sorry theres a but. All you can really see is trees, tress and more tress lol Try spreading them out and varying them abit, apart from that, great start RE: Ogs Land - New Park - Screens inside! - Nook29 - Apr 20, 2006 The trees are really a way of filling in the gaps. I might add some water into some of the spaces later, but I'm going for a woodland effect. RE: Ogs Land - New Park - Screens inside! - Cheetah - Apr 20, 2006 If you try using different kinds of trees, not just that one kind, it will look even more "woodlandish" RE: Ogs Land - New Park - Screens inside! - Nook29 - Apr 20, 2006 Yeah, I'm going to be working on it some more, so I'll post the updated woodlandish setting. Also, the bits around the edge of the park probably won't be accessable, I'll most likely create some lakes and hills with waterfalls, with trees. It'll look nice from the rest of the park. Either that or put a big coaster there. RE: Ogs Land - New Park - Screens inside! - Nook29 - Apr 20, 2006 Update, the park is now full. Not complete, but full. Expect smaller updates from now on: This shot is an overview shot, showing some of the new hills with waterfalls, and the rest of the park. I really like this picture. A nice view down the lake through the hills, with waterfalls. Very picturesque, and one of my favourite pictures. Here's a picture from the top of one of the hills at the back of the park, looking towards the hills to the right of the park. Another of my favourites! This is a better view of the small lake in the centre of the park, with the bridge going over. The large wheel dive bomber ride to the left and right. Please post any thoughts. RE: Ogs Land - New Park - Screens inside! - Nook29 - Apr 20, 2006 A smaller update now: This picture shows Fling, High Swing and the dive bomber ride in their new green and brown colours. They were coloured this way to mathc the park theme. This showns the large Ferris Wheel in it's new green and brown colours, looking very nice against the woodland. The coaster, Ravine, to the right, is also in its new colours. This is a very spectacular shot I think. An overview of the park at night. I love how the lights mark out all the paths in the park, with a nice golden glow. Please post thoughts. RE: Ogs Land - New Park - Screens inside! - vikki2203 - Apr 20, 2006 I like the very last picture, like you said the lights highloght the paths well I also like it alot better now you have added different trees not that I didn't like it before but now it seems more realistic. Good Work. RE: Ogs Land - New Park - Screens inside! - Beelitz - Apr 21, 2006 Cool! Another park in the making. |
