[solved] Selected Options, Graphics, 1600 x 1200.  RCT3 now broken. - 5tom5 - Oct 23, 2005
I went into RCT3 Options and Graphics setup, then selected 1600 x 1200 by mistake.  This setting is out of range for my video card.  Now when I start RCT3 I just get a black screen.  I uninstalled then reinstalled the game, but the 1600 x 1200 setting is locked in somewhere.  There must be a registry setting buried somewhere?  My monitor still works fine for all my other programs, but I can no longer use RCT3.

Navigate to:
C:\Documents and Settings\<YourWindowsLogonUsername>\Application Data\Atari\RCT3\Options.txt
Replace C with the harddrive rct3 runs on and delete the Options.txt file. Then startup rct3 and it should work fine

Try uninstalling it and deleting any trace of RCT3 on your machine. I had to do this bc i turned on anti-aliasing and my game got screwed up. :wink:
