I don't know about this... I liked them both. Stars Wars (the new episodes) were great, but they kind of burned me out -except the third one which i knew the final outcome. On the other hand, LOTR I didn't get that way. I loved Smeegle (dudes awsome). I will probable have to go with Lord of the Rings FINAL ANSWER

I like both equally, though I can say star wars keeps your attention 110% of the way!
