Favourite Supermarket - DraytonMonkey - Apr 20, 2006 This thread has been nominated by Belloman as "Thread of the Year" Anyway What's your favourite Supermarket and why. Mine is ASDA as it is cheap like myself and has lovely nice savoury doughnuts covered in hot fudge freshly baked before your eyes :scared: *Runs to Buy Doughnuts* *Has help by the staff to be put on the Counter* *Gives Monkey Nuts* *Comes back to Computer* Also the staff are really jolly and ASDA have a good sense of humour and can laugh at themselves, like when they sit in a bath of cold bkedc beans and raise money for cahrity. RE: Favourite Supermarket - Chickenselects - Apr 21, 2006 HMMM, I guess I would say Cosco. I love the free samples and everything there comes in bulk so it's like a every two month shopping trip and it's pretty cheap . RE: Favourite Supermarket - Justin - Apr 21, 2006 1. I refuse to say ANY thread is thread of the year (that wasn't made by me ) 2. I've never heard of Asda... hmmm... 3. My favorite is probably Wal*Mart Supercenters, they are so darn convienent. Sadly, we don't have any of those nearby (but there is a rumor that they are converting the old Big Bear closeby to one ). My second choice would be Kroger, because we do have them closeby RE: Favourite Supermarket - Chickenselects - Apr 21, 2006 ASDA is Wal*Mart, I can tell by the slogan. Such a Mature thread! RE: Favourite Supermarket - Justin - Apr 22, 2006 Can you describe what SmartPrice is? RE: Favourite Supermarket - DraytonMonkey - Apr 30, 2006 It's asda's cheap version of everything like bred that has a smartprice label on so it's 17p RE: Favourite Supermarket - Justin - Apr 30, 2006 Ah, well at Wal*Mart that is "Sam's Choice," I think. RE: Favourite Supermarket - DraytonMonkey - May 1, 2006 Is that meant to be like Uncle sam's choice? By the way can you be a freak and take a picture of your nearest supermarket. It would definitely make me laugh! |
