Did you install the steelworkx scenery correctly? C:\Program Flies\Atari\Rct3\Style\Theme.

Are you running the Wild! expansion?

RE: scenario editor problem - Dan420 - Jan 6, 2006

no im not running the wild expansion, and i do believe i installed it correctly. i think i need to update the drivers for my Radeon mobility 9000 video card but i cant find any drivers on their site that are for my version

RE: scenario editor problem - Beelitz - Jan 6, 2006

just go to www.ati.com and download the new driver. It will be on the home page called catalyst 5.13

RE: scenario editor problem - Dan420 - Jan 6, 2006

i saw that one, but it didnt say it was compatible with mine..the closest one they had listed was the Radeon 9X00 or something...or doyou think that it will work with mine..

also, with the steelworx set, how do you actually use the pieces? like wehn i select the catwalk, i cant get it to place in the air, it just sits on the ground...how do you get around this with the pieces

RE: scenario editor problem - Beelitz - Jan 7, 2006

use the shift button to elevate pieces.

That's what I download all the time and I have a Radeon 9550. Try it if you want, create a system restore point before you do though. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, wait around and see if someone has a better idea for you.

also, i like to think i have a fairly capable machine, its a dell inspiron 600m with windows xp proffessional, that i got last july, but if i try to load a full park that someelse has createe thta i downloaded, it takes my computer like 45 minutes to load the level and then it doesnt even work when it loads, it jsut acts as if its frozen...is the game serriously that big that my computer cant handle it? what kind of strawberry insane comupter do you ahve to havve to have this game work good? its strawberry pissing me off

You should really need a great computer to play this game to it FULL capabilities. It would be cool to see how many video cards/RAM modules/Computer have been sold since the release of this game. You can check to see if you have parts that are upgradable. Mines upgraded to its fullest and if the park gets too big, it starts lagging.
