OK I dont know about you but ive allways thought the bigger the screen, the better the movie and gamming experiance (speel check)
So I have often dreamed of owning a massive tv screen and then I came accross this while browsing on ebay for a plasma tv.

I have 2 of the frensal lenses that ive had for ages. I cant rember what I had them for or where I got them from but I have never attempted to make one as ive never seen the plans.
Whats your thoughts on this?

my parents just bought a projector...the rule technicians say is that if its any bigger that 50 inches its cheaper to go the projector way...but im not good with all these plasma and lcds and stuff so i dont really know if thats right

I heard plasmas are only good for about up to 4 years. What a waste of 3000 dollars

I'dd go the projektor way, as Tiamat said...
I had a projektor, when the playstation2 was all new... And it's way coooool, to play racing games, that way. And I only used a "screen" sized 2m x 1,5m..

Yes. Plasma burns into the screen after a few years. Also do not put it in front or near a window, because the sun can damage it too. I would reccomend a LCD if you dont want the top quality for the next 4 years.
My Uncle Don recently built a new house and its got a projector. Its SOO Awsome. On New Years Eve, we went over to his house, and watched movies and partied all the way until 2 am! His house is so awsome!!!
