Comp Specs... - atownplaya369 - Jan 29, 2006 OS: Windows XP Processor: 2.60 GHz Intel Celeron Processor Memory: 256 MB CD Rom: CD-RW 48 Max Write, DVD 16x Max Read Video: ..... not sure but graphics card is Intel Extreme Graphics 845 GV when i ran the demo of this game it was verrrrry slow and choppy. when i buy the game and run the disc will it still be verrry slow and choppy? thanks for the help. RE: Comp Specs... - nascarnick - Jan 29, 2006 Well you might have to run the game in low quality. I dont know much about that graphics card but i know that i had a intel integrated when i bought my comp and i couldn't see water. And those things were a little messed up like the sky. But the game ran well. You might want a good video card. Just ask at the atari boards. They will know what you need. Other than that a 2.6 with 256 mb ram thats a good comp. I think your good to go. But a new video card makes things so much better! And since regualy ones are 124s it will make your computer run faster when your not playing a video game. 8) I hope that helped RE: Comp Specs... - Ryan Gordon - Jan 29, 2006 moving... RE: Comp Specs... - Shaun Allsop - Jan 29, 2006 Unfortuantly the game will run very slow on that pc. Even on low settings: Depending on how much youd want to spend or have to spend id defantly upgrade your pc. The best thing to do would be to build your own and buy parts from a site like: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/ Id double all the specs that the game says it requires but even than you wont get much gamplay untill lag starts to kick in. Here goes my recomendations. CPU: AMD Athlon 64, and if you can stretch to it, Dual Core Athlon 64 X2 4400. Motherboard: Anything with Nvidia N-Force 4, Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 7800GT. or the ati X1800XT if budget allows Sound: Creative Soundblaster XF-I Extreme Music. RAM: at least 512mb PC3200 is still the only RAM avaliable on AMD systems, Hard Drives:  Id suggest 2 hardrives. 1 for your operating system and programs and the other for videos, music ect that would make a good system  costing about £1000 if you buy the bits and build it yourself. hope this helps RE: Comp Specs... - G-Force Junkie - Jan 29, 2006 From recent reports...ive heard that chips with a processing speed of 3.3ghz are the best for a game like ours.A PCI Express grafix card is preferable over a standard AGP card, though AGP's are still fine.1gb RAM is also strongly recomended...If your motherboard allows it. RE: Comp Specs... - nascarnick - Jan 29, 2006 Well i have 2.6 with 512 mb ram and an nvidia geforce. 124 mb video card. The game runs perfect. Even on high quality. |
