Problem with Graphics? or something else? - Cheetah - Apr 22, 2006 I was experimenting with the JCat's Steelworx set. I figured out how to use it, but when I zoom out far enough, they disappear. Its the LOD settings in the games options menu (you may have to click show LOD settings to see them.) The game settings are set to a default setting depending on your graphics card depends on how high the settings are. Obviuosly the higher the settings the better the game looks and less chance of the sceanery disapearing but the down side is the game will run slower and cause allot of lag and may even cause the game to crash. Most peaple will have there graphics set to the default levels whislt playing and building and then when they want to take a screen shot or movie they will wack the settings on full.
