Yeathrow Park (Updated 15/8/06 with news of the future and Some BIG changes!) - DrMonkey - Jul 24, 2006 I hope you have read of the shocking news about Colourful County, that the park will shut and be sold off to private developers! In a statement made by Taussauds, they revealed their plans for the parks. "Colourful County has recently seen neglect from many visitors and staff alike. After the terrain forming disaster where 3 of our staff fell down and broke their necks we decided that it must be the final chapter in the Colourful County Book. So we have sold the park and will use the remaining rides and scenery on our new park......." Updates soon! RE: Yeathrow Park - Gamesonline - Jul 24, 2006 This is the best park you have made so far :!: RE: Yeathrow Park - Nuclear Fish - Jul 24, 2006 I'm liking the look of that track thing, whatever it is... RE: Yeathrow Park - rct3x - Jul 24, 2006 Does this happed to be near a big airport? RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Jul 24, 2006 Quote:This is the best park you have made so far Wow thanks, I think I'm getting better! Quote:I'm liking the look of that track thing, whatever it is... All shall be revealed, altough I can reveal that it is the hardest thing that I've ever built in RCT3! Quote:Does this happed to be near a big airport? Yeah, and I'm the Pope  Here's a quick upadte for you folks, I have added a selection of new flats in "The Log Cutter's Forest" a Claw of Doom(Deadwood), A Discus (The Axe) and my personal favourite, a Slammer (TIMBER!) Here's two screenshots of the new rides and one of Timber on it's Media Opeing Day RE: Yeathrow Park - Gamesonline - Jul 24, 2006 Still looks nice. Try placing some buildings. All I can see is trees. RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Jul 25, 2006 It's me Trevor McDonald here reporting live from Yeathrow park, here where we report on the new rides for the season! I took a trip in the Helicopter this morning, the park has really progressed, not only has it shook off it's "fair" image but, it has some great new rides. We landed in the Logcutter's Forest, a canadian themed area, and took a trip on "The Log Cutter's Shute" that's one hell of a ride! Next we headed to it's Claw of Doom ride, Woodchip, with it on a good setting it's great although it broke down mid way after our 5th ride. The famous discuss the Axe left last season, to be replaced by a swinging inverter ship from Colourful County, although we were shocked when we were told it would take the previous ride's name! We had a look at The new station for Chipwood, pretty impressive, don't ya think? Timber would be treated to a new station we were told, but currently the ride's shut with Giant billboards avertising it. This has been Trevor McDraytonMonkeyDoanld here, thank you for watching and good night! :!: RE: Yeathrow Park - Gamesonline - Jul 25, 2006 Nice update. Love the building. RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Jul 27, 2006 The park's started to get quite laggy with my new candy themed dark ride, But I am planning something Big for the east side of the park. RE: Yeathrow Park - DrMonkey - Jul 28, 2006 Welcome to 2006, this year has been great for the park with them releasing a whole new area for the peeps. Afetr the sucess of the Canadian Land the park decided to fix their attention on children and families creating the new area of the Park, Colourful County. As we mentioned alot of the rides from sister parks that have closed are now at Yeathrow, so I present to you The 3D Cinema from Colourful County, before it was moved to Yeathrow it had space theming which has been placed in a workshop at the back of the park, more about that soon. The park also has a new coaster, a junior coaster themed as a Hungry caterpillar. This has been very popular with the peeps despite opening 3 months late! A nice shot of the coaster going over part of the stream. The park has also added a new Oservation Tower, which is proving to be very popular, here's a few pics. |
