Cannot complete "Island Hopping" any ideas? - Fallen-Angel - Aug 8, 2006
Hi Everyone I have only recently installed RCT3 with both expansions and am unable to complete the scenario Island Hopping in the main game. I can have as many coasters as I like that fall into the required speed to complate yet the game doesn't recognise that I have done this, I cannot even complate the apprentice level of this one as it puts the tick in the box for length of ride but not max speed :???:any ideas would be greatly appreciated

when it says "max speed" it means that the coaster should not go any fast than than the max speed stated i though u would of know what max speed ment eg. max speed of 65mph - your speed 66mph [_]
max speed of 65mph - your speed 64mph [x]
[x] means write
[_] means wrong

^ Um... why didn't you just say 66mph = wrong, 64mph = right? Would have been a lot quicker...

Btw I did know what max speed meant before your post

^ Well, I suppose you did know what max speed is. You would have to have been incredibly stupid not to.
No idea what's causing the problem though. Some time last year I played that scenario and Icouldn't do it, so I gave up. That was in the days when I was rubbish at RCT3 though... which are now long gone.

I finally uninstalled it and re-installed it, then played constantly til I got to the scenario again and it played through fine, so i guess its just gremlins in the machinary or something

So does this mean that you have to uninstall, reinstall and then play up to that scenario to see if it will recognize the acenario achievement?
