Soaked Wont work at all - leedzutd_fan - Aug 30, 2006
I recently purchased rct 3 + the soaked exp. Plain old rtc 3 on its own works just fine but when i install soaked i get a message saying bad version: 5 which refers me to the file C:\Program Files\Atari\RollerCoaster Tycoon 3\CarriedItems\morecarrieditems.common.ovl. I have tried this on two computers with multiple installs making sure all files in the installation folder were deleted and the result remained the same. My specs are fine to run the game so i am very puzzled as to what is going on. I have tried to install the US and UK patches for soaked (rtc 3 came fully updated) but UK appears to be the wrong version but an error occurs with the US version saying invalid patch file. This is really causing me some stress. I have been trying to nut this out for two days now and have come up with nothing. Any help would be much appreciated.

Also try repatching it with the right country patches

try updating RCT3 aswell see if you need a patch for the game
