Minor Website Changes - Justin - Aug 16, 2006 There have been some minor changes on the website, including the new drag and drop on the navigation menu, along with some changes to the RSS feed images - they now change to their 'brighter' state when you mouseover them! The new drag and drop allows you to customize the way the navigation menu looks in the three different "areas" - index page, downloads, and the rest. The previous collapse/expand has been replaced with one that is built in with the new drag and drop system. I invite you to explore the new system and customize your navigation menu - reordering, collapsing and expanding, and more - to make your experience on RCTgo as pleasant as possible! There have also been some minor code changes to hopefully make the site run a bit faster and not burden you with loading javascript files that aren't even needed to be loaded on that page. Also, just as a side note, please be aware of the upcoming forums upgrade, which you can learn more about here. Also, I will begin working on adding the downloads from Nascarnick Studios very soon Enjoy! RE: Minor Website Changes - Christian - Aug 20, 2006 Great looking site Belloman! Now I think it's time to go tabless.. :whistling: RE: Minor Website Changes - Justin - Aug 20, 2006 Christian Wrote:Great looking site Belloman! I just needed to make the changes to the navigation to do it The never should've used tables, as <div>'s could do just as much as tables in that case, but they did Maybe that'll be my next project to work onBelloman Wrote:@_@ When did that happen? Keep it up! RE: Minor Website Changes - Nova - Aug 21, 2006 What's so great about a tabless site? I've seen it everywhere, but never understood what the difference is. RE: Minor Website Changes - Justin - Aug 22, 2006 DaDude Wrote:What's so great about a tabless site? I've seen it everywhere, but never understood what the difference is.I'm not entirely sure. It sort of makes the code a bit cleaner and easier to read (for me only, of course ), but I'm not so sure of any other perks. RCTgo doesn't have too much of a complicated layout, we might actually be able to get it tableless. Just some final quirks that'll need to be worked out |
