Satisfying the VIPs - Fordie - Jun 26, 2007
i have RCT3 + Soaked + Wild and on one of the scenarios on RCT i have to build a roller coaster with an excitment rating of 7 or higher for the VIP Cami-O(!). i did this but she wouldn't go on it. then i realised that she likes an intensity rating of medium and this one had extra high, so i built another with an excitment rating of over 7 and a intensity rating of medium. but she still wont go on it, and until she does i can't win the level, she comes in the park and either wanders about and leaves after 5 minutes or going on the top spin ride or something similar and then leaves. how can i make her go on the ride? ie tried making her walk past it but she won't. im getting frustrated!! can anyone help??

I don't think you can make people go on rides.
Isn't it Excitement rating it uses? And have you checked the nausea rating?

True. You can't make regular peeps go on rides but this is a VIPeep.
When the VIP enters your park, pause the game, bring down the console and click one of the icons next to the "VIP has entered your park" message and it will bring up your VIP peep's window. You can edit their actions alot like staff members but not as much but you can definitely direct VIPs more so than regular peeps. Click on the "footprints" icon in the VIP window and you should be able to figure it out from there.
You can edit their entire "itenerary" of rides or areas you want to direct them to until you've satisfied their demands.
You just have to manually tell the VIP exactly what rides to visit as they won't just wander and stumble upon your rollercoaster otherwise.

I have just started playing RCT3 Platinum and am trying to host Clint Bushton. He needs to ride one of my coaster with an excitement rating of 4. I have set his path to go to the coaster, but he gets halfway there and decides to go home. I have already attempted this twice and I am getting frustrated because I am not sure what I am doing wrong. My coaster is a bit far from the entrance (not sure if that is the problem). Also, is he supposed to stop and think alot?? Any help would be great. Thanks!!

No he isn't really supposed to stop and think. Try picking him up and placing him near it then tell him to go on it. When I played that level, he went straight to the ride I put in for his required level. It would be best if you went ahead and did a coaster will an excitement level of six, as that is what is needed for the tycoon level.
