Failure to verify disc within time limit - RivaOni - Aug 13, 2007

I've just picked up RCT3 pre-owned and installled on my Vista PC, I'm yet to install any updates yet however, but I thought I'd test it anyway.

The installation went fine, and my PC is technically able to run it, but whenever I click the desktop icon nothing happens for a while then I get a box pop up with the message thats in the title of this topic, with the buttons "Retry" or "Cancel" neither matters as if I retry it does it again.

Anybody know what this is, or how to fix it? Thanks.

What do you click on to open the game? I suggest removing the original desktop icon, and replacing it with a copy/paste shortcut.

Try reinstalling.

Doesn't matter wether its autorun, desktop icon, from the start menu or from the launch icon in the actual games folder.

Jordan, I'll try giving it another install, not holding much hope though to be honest
