Ages - A work in progress - Cobraderra - Apr 4, 2010

I just started playing with RTC3 and what started off as a basic tutorial test developed into what you see attached. Its straight SandBox so no scenarios or any limitations.

I have no idea really what I am doing so just threw stuff together as I went along. Have not learned how to do buildings yet and my terraforming still has a long way to go.

Anyway, this is very earely in development and I still have a lot to do including adding another three ages ... Space, Western and Aqua.

Would be interested in hearing what the pros have to say.

This is designed on a highend laptop with an i7 CPU and 4gig ram.

EDIT: I have removed the attachment that was here. Check on page 2 for the update

Now worked out how to do buidings so have started adding more structure content and coaster stations. Also been removing loads of coaster supports that really spoiled the whole park. Still have loads of work to do but once finished I hope the end result will be worth the time spent.

Sceenshots as promised. Still have loads of work to do. Lots more ride posts to get rid of and loads of repainting to do. Still have many more buildings to create and a whole lot of items to place.

The big green area that is not developed yet is going to be another age - not sure what yet.

Biggest job left I think is to change all the names of the rides and staff.

BTW, incase anyone has noticed that all the paths are infact going over the top of the hills from one age to the next and wondering why ... as I said in my first post, I have no idea what I am doing so did not know that you could make paths through hills.

I am obviously going to be redoing the paths through the hills to join one age to th next.

This is amazing dude. I can't think of any advice to give you.

As for the paths, what RCT3 expansions do you have?

Thanks leet. I have no extras aside from Wild and Soaked. All configs are standard and no patches applied. Anything you recommend adding or configuring?

hi....

OMG, ive been playing RCT3 for a long time now and even I wouldnt be able to create something that epic. I'm very impressed and incredibly jealous.

Is there any way you could post that as a scenario to downloads so we can all have a play about? Maybe that way we can help you improve....

Not sure how to do that. I have created it in Sandbox so have not been developing the park against any scenario.

Soaked and Wild are the only expansions. There should be an option that lets you make your paths going straight through the hills. I forgot what it was called though. It should be somewhere in the path construction menu thing.
