Ages V2 - Following the development - Cobraderra - Apr 15, 2010 Ok, here is V2 of Ages. I have learned quite a lot in V1 and will be applying that here. I will post periodic screens of Ages V2 devlopment for those of you who may be interested. Completed so far ... terraforming. More coming soon ... RE: Ages V2 - Following the development - pagg - Apr 16, 2010 love it!!!! Hills look great. So you going for the same idea just better now you have got the hang of it? Was looking at your old "ages" and it looks so much better with the paths running thru the hills. I dont know why but i am adicted to the runaway train! have one in every park! Is there any chance of one popimg up in "agesII"? you know you wana ![]() RE: Ages V2 - Following the development - Cobraderra - Apr 17, 2010 Yup, going to stick with the Ages theme ... just a whole lot better. I have been experimenting with more of the rides that RCT3 has to offer so yes, possible that runaway train may make it into the park. I have downloaded loads of CS stuff which includes custom supports, buildings, rocks, tunnels etc so I hoping that this turns out ot be a lot lot better than Ages V1. Have also activated a few of the unlocks like ride height limit removal to give me more freedom to make higher more exciting coasters. I have just finished making the transport to take peeps to the top of the highest mountain in the corner by the falls and currently working on the feature coaster that has the longest verticle drop in the whole park into custom tunnels. This is going to take a while to get it the way I want it. Only disadvantage with using all the CS stuff is that it will make importing for those folks that want to run the park when I have finished it a little tricky. RE: Ages V2 - Following the development - pagg - Apr 17, 2010 I have the same problem, The cs makes it look great but no one can see it ![]() RE: Ages V2 - Following the development - MKWiiGuy3463 - Apr 22, 2010 Looking good. Nice! RE: Ages V2 - Following the development - Cobraderra - Apr 25, 2010 Some updated pics. Still have loads and loads to do. RE: Ages V2 - Following the development - Rct31337 - Apr 25, 2010 How do you make the terrain look so natural? Mine always looks fake, or you can see each individual tile sticking out. Mine always looks fake, or you can see each individual tile sticking out. Two possible reasons. I have my graphics settings to high so that everything looks really good. Disadvatage is that as you develop your park you will start ahving a substantial drop in FPS. Also, after I have adjusted my terrain I always use the smoothing tool and the hide edges tool. After that I tidy up any left over tile edges with the snap to tool. RE: Ages V2 - Following the development - DUDEGETREAL - Apr 27, 2010 LOOKING GOOD BUT IM NOT A BIG FAN OF THE TERRIN I SPELLED THAT WROMG |
