Building Help? - xego - May 16, 2010

Hey I need some advice for a project im doing. Im making my own interpretation of Sandusky's Kalahari Water Park Resort and I want to make the place an indoor park. How should I approach making a building and how would I. Would this mean making CS or is there a tool for it in the game? Any help is appreciated. Im making all the rides before I make the building. Also I want to make it so my slides go outside of the building as it does with the real park.

So what should I try doing?

I'm no expert at making recreations, but I'd say that the best way to do it is to have a number of pictures on billboards, showing how it should look from all angles, then you could use that to compare as you are building. I'm sure you could find CS for a similar park on the rct3 CS list, so there probably isn't any need to make your own. As for the waterslides, make them first, then put in all of the walls.

Hope this helps! (Somewhat).Ninja

if you want to make a tall wall. place the first wall and then press shift to make a wall on top of that. repeat until wall reaches desired height.

Its going to be time consuming, however, it will be worht while, design your park as you stated, then build the walls and the ceiling at appropriate height, I would go for a glass effect or a sci-fi look, not too sure how Kalahari Water Park look likes.

All the best.

I believe that Kalahari is stone. (Not 100%) Go on Google Images to see it.

For the roof, make one roof tile, and then press ctrl while holding the mouse over the tile, and you don't have to press Shift every timeBiggrin
