every file i try to download is downlaed as a data file and wont transfer into the game what am i doing wrong i never had this problem on my old computer

Are you sure you are putting it into the My Documents/RCT3/the right area (Coasters, Parks, etc.)?

Well, parks are supposed to be .dat files, but if you are downloading a coaster and it is a .dat file and not a .trk file, there is something wrong

Well, the coaster could acctually be in a park with hills and lakes and coasters don't save with those. I'm not sure, but you could be installing them wrong.

I don't know. Usually once or twice you download CS, you get it.
