Sir Jeffrey's Central Park Expo - Thx1138 - Oct 18, 2010

Hi everybody,

Here is a park I am still in the process of building, but have almost completed, my version of Central Park and New York City...

^ Here it is overall, There is a financial district, theater, residential, the Village and Fifth Avenue sections.

^There are two entrances on either side of the park for those weary peeps who "just want to go home!".

^The financial district with the tallest, most substantial buildings.

^ The "Central Park" section is reserved for the coasters and are run out of these efficiant "bays". Easy to clean and police.

^ Here is a place just to sit or take a nice walk. This was a pain to build and there are two of them!

^ Here we have Yankee's Stadium complete with baseball museum. It will become a food court/tourist trap when the park opens.

^ Even New York has strip malls, this one is tiered.

^ Gucci flagship store on Fifth Ave.

^Broadway.

^ The Village

Hope you like it so far, about a week and I'll have it open.

I'll post more shots with the rides.

Thx Smile

Probably not really close. lol

I did visit Manhattan in 1986, but only spent a few days there.

Mostly there are apartment buildings aroumd the park, everyone wants the view.

One thing I did, you'll notice I didn't use any of the tenements etc., this is a nice new Manhattan... high end for the most part.

Here are some more pics from the build...

^I just finished the second entrance.

^ And just added a Macy's store. (I changed the color scheme to Macy's red.)

^ This large glass building actually came from a previous build, I call it "the birthday cake" and it will be the park's Grand Central Station with 2 subways.

^ Here is the residential/professional section.

This section was actually modeled after Chicago. A scene from the beginning of The Bob Newhart Show.

^ The Trocodero night club.

^ Field's department store next to the Troc.

^ There are three car dealerships. Peeps walk in and drive out. Cool

^ The WJM building from The Mary Tyler Moore show. (Yes, I'm a silly old sod.)

^ The Palace Cinema over on Broadway.

^ The Park View Plaza Hotel.

^ A resort I have to add a few floors to. This style led to another park, my Miami Beach build.

^ The Majestic. The first resort I built for Miami.

^ Miami Beach overall. I have about two months into it and will set a thread in a while.

Thanks for your response, I look forward to submitting the files for downloads.

Thx Smile
