Im new to this but is there a point to signing up? dont you get the same amount of options if you dont sign up? i know you get to post stuff like this and upload your work but was there a point of signing up? AND WHAT IS A SIGNATURE???

1. the point of signing up is better than what you said, you can rate people, you can comment on peoples work, you can enter and vote on the BUILD IT! competetions. If you sign up you get a forums page where people can PM you, email you, rate you comment on YOUR creations, its pretty good signing up!
2. A signature is basically your own personally paragraph, hyperlinks, photos on every single post of yours, (rctgo signature that is) etc. Look at mine: It says check out my creations HERE. Click on HERE and it sends you to my creations!

^ Click User CP, Near the top of the page if you are signed in, (sometimes it signs you out automatically if you don't click remember me) Then click Change Signature. Hope this helps ^__^

Welcome to RCTgo!
It seems both of your questions have already been answered, but as others have said, signing up gives you the ability to actively participate in the forums, downloads center, and video theater. You can post in the various discussions, upload your own works to the downloads center, and post your videos. Without signing up, all you can do is browse and download. So thanks for joining - we're glad to have you here!
