There is no current way to speed it up although you could use a screen recorder such a Fraps or Bandicam.

It's sad but true what Coasteriffic said, unless you use a screen recording software, you're just going to have to sit and wait for hours on end.

You can speed up the flying camera route editor, but the video will be fast too. Follow this easy tutorial:

why use the flying camera route editer!?!?! that thing is'nt as smooth as the onride camera and it would take forever to program it to go exactly with the
track

I didn't mean for the POV! I meant just in genera. I recently learned how to use it from that website and I am totally going to start using it.

Unfortunately, there is no way to speed up the game's built in recorder. This is because the game has to compress the frames it captures. If it didn't do this, it would capture faster but you would have HUGE uncompressed video files that wouldn't run smoothly on a media player like windows, and it would take extra time to compress it yourself later. (if you've ever used a game recorder like fraps, you'll know how big the files can get :P) I recommend you let the game record while you're away from your computer. I know its very boring watching the game skip at a few frames per second for over an hour.

Coasterfreak900, I remember doing that, it was my brothers coaster and I started recording it, it was years ago when we had no experience of making a coaster, but I'll put it up if I can find it. Oh well, every game has it's pros and cons.

Lolz I hate it when your friends come over and they start making something like this:

And then you start making a master piece.

And they get really bored and leave.
