I have one question - mexgamer - Apr 17, 2012 It's probably dumb, but how do you take screenshots? I thought the "Print Screen" would do it but it does not. RE: I have one question - RedRain - Apr 17, 2012 click f10 RE: I have one question - mexgamer - Apr 17, 2012 oh thank you RE: I have one question - Speedy - Apr 17, 2012 To change the button to Print Screen follow this guide: 1) When you're at the menu of RCT3 you should see an "Options" button, Click on it. 2) To the right you'll see four icons, click on the Keyboard key icon; it says "Keyboard Bindings" if you hover the mouse over it. 3) There should be a list. Under "Universal" you should see "Take a screen snapshot". 4) Simply click on "Take a screen snapshot" then press the key you'd prefere to us (e.g the *Print screen* button. 5) Simply click close the options window and carry on as normal, using your prefered button to take snapshots. Hope this helped. -Speedy RE: I have one question - Blu - Apr 17, 2012 Follow this tutorial to upload them on RCTgo: http://forums.rctgo.net/thread-5774.html RE: I have one question - mexgamer - Apr 18, 2012 I have changed the key from "F10" to "Print Screen"; the problem is that when I press it, it does take a picture of the screen, but not the game screen but my computer desktop. So basically, when I press Print Screen, instead of capturing whatever I'm seeing in the game, it capture what is in my desktop. Do you know why this happens? RE: I have one question - Blu - Apr 20, 2012 Your computer is set up to take a snapshot of your screen when you press that button. It probably doesn't know to do that with RCT3. Try taking a picture without RCT3 open and another program and post your results as an attachment. RE: I have one question - mexgamer - Apr 21, 2012 That's what normally happens; if I run RCT3 and take a screenshot, whatever I have open "behind" RCT3 will appear in the picture RE: I have one question - Warzaw99 - Apr 21, 2012 Check your pictures folder, when i installed a picture folder titled RCT3 was created and all screenshots i take in game end up there RE: I have one question - Blu - Apr 22, 2012 If that doesn't work, then this is what I have to say; As I understand you took those snapshots with the print screen button and not with the snipping tool or another snapshot taking program. I haven't every thought of this happening, but what I think is RCT3 is setup to take a snapshot, and your computer is set up to take a snapshot, and they both have the same shortcut keys. You have to change the shortcut key in RCT3 back to f10 or another key, or change the settings for the built in function on your computer. By the way, you could put that picture in the Show Us Your Desktop thread. |
