RCTgo's Spruce It Up! Competition - Justin - Apr 15, 2007

This competition is for, of course, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, but we're giving out some awesome Thrillville related prizes direct from Frontier! They've offered us the following:
  • FIRST PRIZE: Thrillville T-Shirt, a Thrillville Picnic Pack, and a Mini Beach Ball
  • SECOND PRIZE: Thrillville T-Shirt and a Mini Beach Ball

The Rules
  • You may not edit the roller coaster other than colors. Any other modifications are forbidden and will get you disqualified.
  • You must place the roller coaster inside a default sandbox park. You are free to remove the entrance or connect it to the roller coaster; it is your choice.
  • You may not have any other functioning rides. If you wish to add rides that are NOT ever opened or connected at all, feel free to do so.
  • You may use custom scenery, however, when you submit your entry, you must make note of all custom scenery packs that were used in your theming.
  • You may transform the land however you wish.
  • Most importantly - have fun! Biggrin

Entering
To enter, you will need to post a thread in the entries forum. Your entry must include:
  • A name for the coaster that fits in with your theming.
  • At least one screenshot; more is recommended.
  • The sandbox park file that you built your theming in. This is just in case we wish to look more in-depth at your entry.
  • If you used custom scenery in your entry, you will need to list all custom scenery packs used, including links to the page that they were posted at so we can download them if necessary.

Criteria
Your entry will be judged based on:
  • Completeness: How complete is the theming? Did you leave empty spaces, or is everything filled?
  • Quality: How pleasing does it look? Do things match and go together well, or does it look like things were thrown together?
  • Coloring: Does the coloring of the coaster match the theming surrounding it?
  • Name: Does the name match the "mood" your are trying to create? Does the theming work well with the name?
  • Station: Did you build a station to go with your theming? How does the building/structure look?
Each of the above is graded on a 10-point scale, totaling in 50 points. The higher your score, the better. Each of the judges will submit ratings for every entry. If there is a tie, Belloman will pick the winner.

Time Frame
RCTgo's Spruce It Up! Competition was extended ten days on May 16, 2007
April 15, 2007: Competition begins
May 25, 2007 by 12:00 Midnight EDT: All entries must be in
May 25, 2007 - June 4, 2007: Entries are judged
June 7, 2007: Winners Announced Cool
This time frame may be adjusted if necessary.

Looking for Judges
If you cannot or do not wish to participate, but would like to help me out with judging, please send me a PM. I'm looking for 3 or 4 judges to judge based on the criteria above.
