Looking for a Structure/Park Entrance - ToneEnthrall - Oct 26, 2012

Hello everyone!

Sorry to trouble you all, but I am looking for an old structure/park/park entrance I had over a year ago.

Since then the Atari forums have dissapeared and my hard drive died, therefore I lost everything I ever had. I've recently got back into RCT3 with a newfound passion and would love to have this particular piece back as it was a staple in all my parks.

Essentially, what it was; was a Hangar which served as the park entrance. It was made to look like an underground train station, with stairs leading down, which was where the peeps generated to the park. It looked a bit like a London Underground station in a sense.

I remember it was available as an empty park/scenario with just this in which you could build from there, and I vaguely remember the hangar was also available as a structure, so you didn't need to build it yourself.

Does this sound familar to any of you? It was a white/light gray structure and inside it were dark steps leading into the ground, it was quite a decent little thing and I'd love to know if it still exists.

If any of you could help me I'd be eternally grateful and appreciative. Thank you in advance!

Let's try something. I googled rct3 underground entrance hangar and was eventually led to this youtube video made by a davidindallas for his coaster, meltdown. So watch the video and see if this is the entrance you seek. Then we can at least have a starting point?

Thanks for the welcoming and the response.

That's a great video, but it isn't similar to what I'm looking for. Thanks for looking though!

If it's easier to explain, because I realise I have been qutie vague, I could replicate it if I could find a pre-built Stuk71 Hangar51. It is essentially the hangar, in white and the ground underneath it is scooped out with descending stairs, giving the illusion of an underground station.

If you know where I could get a Hangar51 structure, pre-built and everything I could replicate it. I have the Hangar pack but I fail at building it myself.

You want a structure made from hanger 51, the set with no side walls, just with the sides open and a roof? How big and what color. If you want it to have sides, we'll have to go with hangar 71 or 91.

Hey. Erm, the back is all walled along with the sides, but at the front, there are three openings, one opening in the centre - 5 tiles, and an opening to the left and right - about 2-3 tiles. I use the remaining walled areas at the front as office/shop illusions. It would need to be white/light gray and would essentially be the size of the built hangar. So it would ultimately look like a hangar converted into a London Underground entrance.

LOL, you can call me a star when I finish. I hate making things with those hangar kits. I think the designer was on serious drugs. Different walls for fronts and sides. Gaps between them with gap fillers. Either that or it was the first CS they made. Little wonder anyone has trouble with it. But I'm usually up for a challenge. Check back with you with a progress report.

I am indeed talking about those sets. If you're making a little station cover they're fine. If you're trying to make a large hangar they're are a pain in the azz. There are different walls for front and sides. The left steep is really the right and none of the walls actually meet. Both front and side walls have gaps and gap plugs. Now if you're just trying to make that little roof structure you have shown, I'm sure they're dandy, lol.

If you're trying to make the one with the a-frame roof, they work ok. Not great, but ok. If you're trying to make the semi-circular roof normally associated with hangars, especially the surplus ones from ww2 that are used as underground terminals..well you have pieces to build one 3 tiles across. After that...you gots to go flat. The only ones I saw in 98 when I was there were the rounded hangar roofs.
