How to Get Rid of In-Game Supports - IntaminAndrew - Jan 27, 2013

Okay guys. This is the EASY way of getting rid of custom supports. Lets get started.

Here I have my simple station (thanks Alex) which you dont need, but I thought it would add more scenery.

Now open up your options and go to your graphics tab. (the eye)

Click on the arrow to the left of the the Advanced Settings.

Now check the box Show LOD Options.

Lower the detail level and the draw distance on the Supports.

Now start to build your coaster. I choose the B&M 2nd Gen. Hyper.

You could do that, or you could click the glasses, and un-toggle "supports". You do have to do it every time you open the game, though.

I don't like doing either of the two, because one, support killers don't add any polys to the game, two, I have lots of time to waste, and three, Some supports I might actually need. While I can't think of any examples, it's possible. Of course, that's just my opinion.

If you untoggle supports, it gets rid of supports for elevated paths as well.

Who cares? Those are ugly just as well. Usually I find my way around with CS sets to make it look better without those ugly alpha supports.

Retextures to the rescue!

I meant for the paths. They don't have retextures for the path supports... wait... do they?
