How do i put pictures in my posts without uploading them and having people open them in new tabs. Will i have to upload them to some where like flickr and put the link in? Or is there a way i can simply copy and paste?

You'll have to upload it to a Image sharing site. Use ImageShack.com: http://www.imageshack.com/
Once you got the URL link for your picture, put the URL link as it says in the example:
[img]URL_LINK[/img]

If you use Imgur, there is a list of different codes. One of them already has the IMG tags.
