Invisible Track and Guided Tour Issues - FlightToAtlantis - Apr 21, 2013
I’ve downloaded Invisible Track and Guided Tour. The read me suggests long detailed complex instructions that involves CTR Creator. The webpage from where I downloaded these tracks indicates if one doesn’t want to be bothered with CTR Creator the work-around to this would be to place the extracted track files directly into \tracks\TrackedRides\ which is what I’ve done but I don’t know where to find these tracks in the game. I’m sure the invisible track doesn’t come with an invisible ride so I don’t know where to look for that, and I can’t find any guided tour ride or track.
Has someone installed this successfully before?

Can anybody tell me how to actually make a ride with the invisible tracks I downloaded? Putting it in the Tracks/TrackedRides folder doesn't seem to work.

Tried to use CTR creator. Said it installed. Still can't find in list of coaster rides.

did you manually put the folder in the tracked rides folder or did you press the button on the CTR creator to auto install it

I initially manually copied it to the folder, but after I downloaded CTR creator I deleted the custom track folder from TrackedRides and used the Install feature in CTR creator to transfer it. But after doing that I didn't see TrackCTR_RR03InvisibleTrack in the TrackedRides folder. Is it possible it was installed as TrackBased41? I can't remember how many there were before. Anyway, when I go into the game and click on the Rides icon (the picture of the ferris wheel) and then click on the RollerCoasters icon (the one at the very top), I can scroll through the list of available coaster types and not see anything new added. Is it disguised as one of the coasters I'm already familiar with? Is it in one of the folders of saved coaster designs? Is it necessary to install a particular matching coaster car in order to get it to show up in the list?

the install feature on the CTR creator is broken so I always manually install it.
do you have platinum? you need it for the CTR to work

So should I use the CTR creator or not?
When you say "manually install", do you mean just copying it into the TrackedRides?
I've tried it both ways, but no success.
And yes, I do have Platinum.

Latest:
I tried something I had previously missed in the instructions, copying the track settings:
TrackType TrackCTR_RR03InvisibleTrack
TrackSectionNames RR03.BlockBrakes.S0.T0.D0, etc.
...manually into a file I created named 'CTR_BahnDaten_InvisibleCTR.txt', then used the CTR creator to first "Create Rides.ovls", then to "Install Rides.ovl". Still not getting any new rides showing up in the game.
