RE: [RCT(2)] My coaster designs - New: Supernova - BlazingEmpireHD - Apr 15, 2016

I VERY much miss the booster pad in RCT2. There's an easy fix. Hacks. Lol, I use a thing called 8 cars per trainer because I can edit my coaster's chainlift to be flat and go at speeds of 100+ MPH! Replacing the lost booster pads!

And no, I don't hack the game for everything, like add peeps, combine rides, make the game have more money, ect. I just do simple tests.

(Oh and by the way, if ya place the coaster back in with this speed hack on, it will work which is awesome)! If you want makeshift booster pads, go download 8 cars per trainer right now.

For people who don't want to use trainers, there is another way to recreate the booster pad from RCT1: OpenRCT2. This is a mod that considerably improves the game, but is still in development. Also, it can do stuff 8 cars trainer does, for example cheating by inscreasing the chainlift speed.

Personally, I don't want to use a program that may potentially modify the game. Even if someone says it doesn't, I still find that unsafe for my game. I prefer OpenRCT2, because it is easier than using a trainer and I trust this mod.

That's true, I just recently started testing out OpenRCT2 and so far haven't found everything out. 8 cars is my best bet right now.

Thanks for the tips! I'm using the 8cars trainer now for a RCT2 version of Supernova.

Yes, it works fine. Here it is...

Please read this first before you download:

The .zip file contains the track design (.TD6) and a saved game "Supernova (testing ground)".

The Supernova coaster design needs the "8 Cars per Trainer" to function. The saved game doesn't.

After placing Supernova in your park, this is how you change the lift hill speed to 40mph (64 km/h):

- download and/or open "8 Cars per Trainer"
- click "Rides -> Edit Rides"
- select "Ride # -> Supernova (NieSch)"
- set "Lift Speed -> 40"
- click "-> Apply -> OK"
