Resolution - Louis - May 28, 2013 How do I get my park to be as high quality as possible without it lagging? It probably depends on my computer, but when I look at peoples YouTube videos of rollercoasters compared to my park, the quality (as in the pixels and definition and stuff) is so much better in their videos. I know I sound stupid.. RE: Resolution - FlightToAtlantis - May 28, 2013 When you’re a newbie there is no such thing as a stupid question, just insufficient information. Chances are their YouTube videos are quality because they recorded them directly through RCT3. I am assuming if one has a copy of a quality video editing application, such as Adobe Premiere, that might also record in better quality than a free application might record. If you’re still interested in getting your park to run at a better quality try changing the LOD options and the geometry imposter distance. RE: Resolution - Louis - May 28, 2013 Thanks, btw what do you mean by recorded straight from rct3? Is there a recording option on it or something? RE: Resolution - Blu - May 28, 2013 CTRL + Shift+ F11 = Record. CTRL + Shift + F11 again = Stop Recording! But, it will be awfully slow recording because the game saves it frame by frame. Recording software doesn't do frame by frame of the game but instead of your screen, and probably won't have as great quality. RE: Resolution - lordddark462 - May 28, 2013 that is how I recorded my 2 videos i just posted. but they still don't seem like they are high quality. RE: Resolution - Louis - May 28, 2013 Thanks, I have one more question. Just to say I am a kind of newbie. I don't get custom scenery at all. Everyone says it makes it so much better (I kind of understand what it is) but I have no idea how to use it. Is it simple or complicated? RE: Resolution - invadazimrocks777 - May 28, 2013 Some sets are simple (like jcats and some path covers) but some take some time to make them look good (like moby's steeljungle and shyguy's main street) The best way to use custom scenery is to make an empty park and just tinker with different sets. RE: Resolution - Blu - May 28, 2013 ^I loled at Shyguy's Mainway. RE: Resolution - lordddark462 - May 28, 2013 I just downloaded some CS that adds to the Atlantis Walls. I'm like totally lost with it I'm going to have to sit and play round with it. RE: Resolution - Louis - May 29, 2013 Thanks, oh and also, I've seen people on videos like say they've made a rollercoaster and then somehow just place their pre-made rollercoaster in there new park without building it. I don't really understand how to do that. And also how do you look at a movie you have recorded with CTRL+shift+F11 |
