I see a lot of tutorials on youtube for rct3. If they came out with an RCT4 it would be great if the had a detailed manual.
See my updated post information (posted today 4/19/14) regarding RCT4.

If truth be told, based on some of the screenshots I've seen, I think I'll stick with RCT3 until I can see the PC version which they are working on. I don't have a ipad or mobile phone to use for the app. But I probably wouldn't purchase it yet. People have been saying different things about the mobile app version. So I would do your research first before purchasing. I didn't find a date for when the pc game would be released. (But it's your decision, I just wanted you to see what people were saying about it)
This person was not happy with the app version...here is the comment about the mobile app game I found...

I found this article and it may be of interest to you...There is a trailer for RCT4 on this page.

"Atari will be using the Early Access process to learn, to gauge interest and – hopefully – make the game that RCT fans are crying out for. Chesnais is nothing if not belligerent about this devotion to taking feedback from the community.
The mobile version will also act as a test bed for potential ideas, with one such – perhaps controversial – addition being the inclusion of vanity items that can be redeemed."
I guess there is a mobile version https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rollerco...39732?mt=8

Quote:We are thinking hard about the next Rollercoaster Tycoon game on PC. We have a question for you, our loyal fanbase. How ready are you for the next Rollercoaster Tycoon? In the years since the last version, what are the key features you’ve dreamed about for the next release? What would make you rush out, buy it, and keep playing it? We’d like to know!
While not a confirmation that the next version of the game is even in development yet, it does indicate that Atari has not forgotten about those of us who still play the game. And by asking for the community's input now, if RCT4 does exist - which may be in full-throttle development or just under consideration - you can almost bet it'll have taken at least some of our opinions into account.
What do you think about this latest development in the RollerCoaster Tycoon series? Do you think another installment will be coming soon? Share your thoughts!

"RollerCoaster Tycoon is back and it's coming to mobile (first)! Rest assured, there is a PC experience in production now for release in Fall 2014. This is just the first step in bringing the series back to its fans this year! We are excited and hope you are too!"
"We hear everyone’s comments on the new RollerCoaster Tycoon game and want to let you all know that the mobile game and PC experience will be 2 completely different games. Both games will release this year. The mobile game will include social features (sharing with friends, leaderboards) and the PC experience will have even more features and functionality. We are excited to bring these games to you soon!"
