I just dug out RCT3 from my games collection and have installed it on my Windows 7 Sony Vaio laptop.
Pre-empting that it would need some fiddling round with to work on Windows 7 I looked online.
I installed the 'retail to version 2 EU patch' and I have changed the compatibility settings to Win XP SP2 with 'visual themes' and 'desktop composition' disabled, and I am running it as an administrator.
The games loads fine and runs for a little while each time, however it will just randomly crash and go back to the windows desktop saying the usual 'program not responding'.
Nothing specific seems to trigger this, just when then game has been running for a little while.
Help please! Would really like to start playing RCT3 again. (without it crashing randomly)
