Questions from a Newbie

#1
[font=Verdana]Just a couple questions, as I'm pretty new to the game:

1) Where and how do I access this custom scenery that everybody is raving about? I was not even aware there was such a thing until I joined this site!

2) What exactly determines the excitement and intensity ratings for the coasters? I've had trouble boosting those ratings, and my nausea rating is almost always too high? Any insights?

Welcome jenniannefer to RCTgo. You'requestions are popular and Iwill help you answer them ( I had the same problems)

1. CSO (Custom Scenery Objects) is VERY popular, it is actually pretty easy to install just not easy to make. If you want some CSO go to http://www.rct-theme-world.de/rct-liste/...e-list.htm THEN click "Complete List" at the top of the page. To install it, you extract it in C:\Program Files\Atarti\RollerCoaster Tycoon 3\Style\Themed and for Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum it is C:\Program Files\Atari\RollerCOaster Tycoon 3 Platinum\Style\Themed . (PM Me or reply to this if you need help, these are for Windows XP, I can help for Vista also.)

2. Well the Excitment is generally how cool your coaster is, lots of neat parts and stuff, but not TO MANY drops of course or else it will raise Nausia. Intensity is how intese it is, you know inversions, drops, stuff. And Nausia is the 'bad' or 'evil' factor, if it is to high then people wont ride it (less' you use cheats'.
DONT worry about Excitment, it really doesn't do anything.
Current Projects:

Rock 'N' Rollercoaster
Need For Speed ride!!
