Simple but im sure dumb question, I have downloaded a few custom scenery and im not sure which folder to put them in as i dont have a scenery folder, they are all ovl files

No it's not a dumb question. That you're asking simply means you're unfamiliar with the process.

If you’ve downloaded scenery and all you find after extraction is a folder of .ovl files something is not right. Trash all those files and try extracting them again while preserving the folder structure in which they were compressed. For further assistance on downloading custom stuff see this thread \/.
