Help cfr/cfh's rides

#1
To any one out there? I have RTC3 s&w and downloaded alot of rides and they worked great ? my game was running slow or just shutting down. So I reinstalled the game all over and started from scratch now some of the rides don't work that worked before? for exp. Break dancer, Jumper, thunder, Kamikaze> I created the right folders but they don't work the screen freezes? why what did I do wrong? all so some of the cso's and objects for the themes disappear when I pull the camera up from the ground. why? so now I won't use them, and some of the stuff are real great stuff . If ther some advice or help you can give it would be appreciated . thank you Darin D.Eek

For objects disappearing when you zoom out go to your video settings, check the box "Show LOD Options".

Crank up all of your draw distances for what you want to show up when zoomed way out.

In the game on the left side click on the eyeglass icon "View Controls". Then click on the wrench icon "Game Options".

At the top right of the popup window click on the eye icon "Graphic Settings". The LOD settings are there. When you put a check mark in the "Show LOD Options" it will expand and let you crank up the settings.

SVD and SID errors always mean the file requested by the game engine is not where it should be or it could mean the game engine is not happy with the file due to corruption. Double check how you’ve installed the files with your new installation. They worked with your old install and they should work again this time.

When you reinstalled, did you copy all your RCT3 files aside in a safe place then replace them after RCT3 reinstall or was everything deleted and freshly reinstalled after the RCT3 reinstall?

At the same time you reinstalled RCT3 did you reinstall anything else?

Also, did you do only an RCT3 reinstall or did you reformat your drive. I ask because it sounds like some of the settings somewhere on your system have changed in some way. After you reinstalled RCT3 you returned to out-of-the-box default settings and you need to reset the game settings to where they were before reinstallation. Without more details we’d just be guessing.
