Hi there! I recently downloaded rct3 platinum for my PC. Since I have purchased a new laptop, the PC came with windows 8. I am running the program in compatibility mode for windows XP as suggested and I have tried to look up on other forums how to load custom pictures into the game however nothing I tried is having any luck. The forums say to create a my pictures folder in the documents folder with a RCT3 folder inside the pictures folder and that anything placed in the RCT3 folder will be usable. However, I am not having any sort of luck. Basically, when I go to add billboards the custom image screen comes up blank and shows that there are no pictures to be selected. I've tried moving photos into every single folder but to no avail. After i click "custom image" and the window pops up it says that it is searching for photos in c://users/dave/documents/My Photos/
however, nothing shows up, even when there are pictures in the folder! I have all kinds of image types in the folders so it's not a format issue because not a single one of them is showing up. This is a constant issue that I have spent an eternity attempting to fix. If you could please let me know what I could do that would be awesome.

i found it! I feel stupid

I'm having a similar problem on windows 7. The path to the user\documents\ my pictures doesn't actually exist, but you can't add it because the path is somehow linked to my user\my pictures folder. But the pictures fro the use\my pictures folder don't show up.

Any suggestions?
