I can't play RCT3 anymore because it cannot run on Windows 7.

Windows has this compatibility mode which runs the program the same way it did in earlier operating systems to fix this issue.

Find your RCT's exe and right click it (you can right click a shortcut) click "properties" and under the "compatibility" tab check the box labeled "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" then you can choose XP or Vista and it should work in windows 7.

Well there you go. This game may require its CD for stability even if its patched. I really don't know what to do.
