Wild! Custom Scenery Idea

#1
So I got to thinking recently "Someone should make this, it would be awesome."

I'm talking RCT3 versions of RCT 1 and RCT 2 food stalls. They're the food stalls from the first two games, but the buildings are designed in RCT 3 style.

The stalls I'd like to see include: Exotic Seafood, Roast Sausage, Meatball Soup, Funnel Cake, Popcorn, Iced Tea, Soybean Milk and Fruity Ices. I'm not sure how the creation of CS works so I dunno if these are feasible, but I would like to hear other people's thoughts on this idea anyway.

I think the stalls in RCT2 were quite charming. I don’t remember which trainer it was but with one of the trainers the stalls were actually recolourable. My favorite RCT2 stalls were the cotton candy stall, ice cream stall, drinks stall, french fries and fruity ices, in that order. Most of the RCT3 stalls are an improvement over the RCT2 stalls and I happily used them until the creation of CS and invisible scenery – now I never use them.

Based on my limited dabbling with CS I’m sure it could be done. I’ve recently downloaded an RCT3 CS set that duplicates the ride entrance and exit from RCT2. While I appreciated the efforts of the person that created it I’m afraid it didn’t integrate into the game as if it were RCT3 scenery imitating RCT2 scenery, rather, it looked like an image of an RCT2 station cut and pasted into a screenshot of RCT3 so I uninstalled it. You worded my reasoning well where you wrote that RCT2 type scenery for use in RCT3 should be in RCT3 style.

However, the first level of interest in RCT3 CS appears to have been actual scenery, possibly because the coding for the creation of that was the least complicated to decipher. If that wasn’t the case I’m sure our pioneer CS artists would have given us custom coasters before we got custom scenery. However, we did get custom scenery prior to custom coasters in RCT2 so I could be wrong on this point.

There are tons of custom steelie tracks available and more recently we’ve begun to see custom transport rides and custom flat rides. We do have a few custom water rides which are technically tracked rides that can be placed under water but to the best of my knowledge we have yet to see custom water rides of the type that actually show in the in-game water rides menu.

Whether RCT1, RCT2 or RCT3 I never play the scenarios so it wasn’t until I got one of the RCT2 trainers that I discovered there were around a dozen entertainer types, entertainers which, presumably, I would have come across had I completed some of the scenarios. With that trainer it was possible to have all the entertainers at one time in our RCT2 park. I think we could also do with some more RCT3 entertainers.

I used to want a new cover for the park inspector until I killed him so he’s no longer an issue. I’d consider exhuming the body if someone could create a cover for him that looks like a celebrity or get him to wear an entertainer’s costume while giving us the option to better customize the messages we do or don’t get from him. Until then he’ll stay right where he is - dead.

And we need more land surface textures and cliff face textures. But I’ve gone way off the topic of your thread now …..

I agree we could do with RCT3 style RCT2 stalls to use in RCT3. If someone didn’t believe they could recreate a stall, perhaps someone could create RCT2-esque stall surrounds that could be placed over RCT3 invisible stalls.

It could add more food and drink options too :3

I've never dabbled in CS myself, so I wouldn't have the first idea how to do it :/
