(WIP) Melanocarpa - B&M Inverter 2.-Gen.

#1
Hello all,

this is an little Side-Project and nothing special Tongue
It's more an exercice coaster to pratice some RCT-3 Features, because i'm new to build Coasters in RCT-3 and it's totally different to RCT-1 Biggrin.

But i try my best to create an real looking coaster with all things what necessary for it.
I useing alot of CSO's and i hope that in the end i can give you a complete list about it to watch the coaster on your RCT-3.

"Melanocarpa Aronia" is the name of an exotic fruit -> Black Chokeberry for all the US-Guys here Smile
This fruit has some different sorts: "Nero", "Viking" & "Hugin".
But for the Coaster-Name i used the wild sort. I thought that an double name sounds not really good, so "Melanocarpa" comes out.
After naming, the decision was clear what the theming and the color scheme would be.

I think a Logo could be an good start, right?

Next an Layout-Overview:

As you can see, the supports are removed and the basic "custom" terrain painting are finished.
An little Pond with an small River that interacts a little bit to the track are also added.
The most interesting parts in my opinion are the diagonal track-sections.
I thought that standart layouts are boring and i tried to create an layout with some diagonal parts.
With the "Banshee CTR 2. Gen" its possible to create some inversions diagonal so i used this for the last inversion.
It's a shame that there no half-loops possible for diagonal build, because i would have the Cobra-Roll diagonal as well.

Side-Notes:
- Theming would be really natural so i'll using wood and alot of plants for the Station & Q
- Color-Scheme are:
Black -> Track, dark Burgund -> Rails, dark Purple -> Supports
these colors should representing the Melanocarpa Aronia Fruit Smile
The Trains become an white/rose/yellow to represent the Flower of Melanocarpa

More pictures are coming soon...

Feedback in all terms are welcome Smile

Not much to say about it so far, but I love the layout! Is there a brake run in there somewhere?

There is an Break/Block-Section after the Interacting Looping turn.
The Train slows down to 32 km/h, so the speed is maybe 55 km/h by the Corkscrew and the G-Forces are not to high Smile.

I forget about it, to say that the coaster runs with "BBS" (Block-Break-System), so i've got 4 Block-Break-Parts and that gies me the option to run 3-Trains on it.
In the first run, one train starts on the mid-break-section.
The only problem i had, is that the lifthill speed are slow for an B&M, but it's necessary that when a coaster runs with the BBS, the trains DON'T stop at any block-break-parts and the top of the lifthill counts as one block-break-part.
On my first runs the train on the lifthill was faster than the train that runs on the first track-half, so the result was that the train stops at the end of the lifthill -> not good!
So i played around with the lifthill-speed and in the end i think its a little bit slow Frown, but it works fine and thats what i want.

Update 1:
-----------

After some working on the custom supports, i thought it would be nice to show you some close-ups about this.
I use pics about "Montu @ Busch Gardens Tampa" for building my supports, so i hope i can get close as possible to real B&M Inverters.

Here we go:

First-Loop & Immelmann

The Cobra-Roll

Mid-Break/Block-Section

I think, most of the supports looking good, but still not perfect.
Maybe with the Foliage and Vegetation the supports getting an better look later Tongue

I wanna Rock Tongue

Into the Cave and yeah, it's good to have your swimsuit on, because you getting wet Biggrin

Through an little uphill canyon, nothing special.

Before it goes back to the station, have a nice turnaround of an Fountain and through another little uphill rocky canyon. The Gysirs are track-events.

Last but not least i give you an short moment to see the whole Layout by "Night".
Hope you enjoy.

This was only an preview, maybe i remove/add some lights to it but the colors itself stay as it is.

Supporting and rockwork still not finished blush

Update 2c:
------------

My attempt to create an nature looking station.
I thought wood with some ivy could be have an nature look.
The Roofs are made of Jute, i think Smile

I'm not finished with it, there are alot of work left but here some Screens about the current status of the Station.

Entrance-Side:

Exit-Side:

Transfer-Track:

Restrooms under the Station:

Maybe you think the Restrooms are only fake, huh?
Let's see if you are right Tongue

You'll see right, i create more than only the Entrance Doors to it Smile
Besides the normal ones i've build an extra restroom for peeps with "handicap".

These Restrooms are really small and only for peeps that go to the toilet right after the ride.
There are bigger ones in an Restaurant later besides the track.

Thats it for today, hope you enjoy and give some Feedback Wink
