[WIP] Cthulhu - got me a sign

#1
another day, another new project. the overall theme i am going to try and get with this 'park' is a seaside town feel. it will have a beach, shops and maybe even a lighthouse.

Entrance/bridge: i plan on bringing the 'road' out a little further and building some shop faces along the back wall to cover the entrance. if anyone knows of a path cover set that looks more like a road, please feel free to provide a link. as for the bridge, i am going to try and make it look like a pier leading to a rocky island

General layout: this will probably stay relatively similar, might add a few 'look out points' and shops around the edges to make it less square

Station/walled area: i dont like the station. i initially tried to give it a station that is usually found on travelling coasters, the metal ones that look ugly, but i have decided to make it look like more of a permanent coaster than a travelling one. inside the walled area i will make a nice little garden: some trees, a pond, the usual stuff

Coaster layout: this is a fast and curvy coaster. some areas are a bit sharp but its mainly during transitions from banked to straight and vice-verse. it was originally a hyper coaster but the default stations are ugly so i changed to the 'classic corkscrew' CTR, unfortunately during the switch it became faster somehow so i need to add a few brakes to slow it down a bit. the back portion of the track will be hanging over the water. Its going to be graced with nice big yellow supports, i think it will go well with the green track and make the coaster stand out even more

A name without any info about the theming could be difficult.
For example, calling the coaster "Superman" and the theming is an exotic island, that won't fits really good!

Green/Yellow with an silver/grey station:
that reminds me of an cocktail -> "Caipirinha" Biggrin
"Slimer" maybe? -> from The real Ghostbusters, but than the theming should be a little bit spooky Wink

The layout looks really compact, have fun with custom supporting on it Tongue

its a 'sea side town' theme, and i am going to change the station at some point since i dont like it. it does say this in the descriptions but i dont blame you for not reading, i dont like reading stuff either.

as for the supports, i am in the process of it now. its not too difficult now but then again i havent hit the curly parts yet

I read all posts, because i think it's necessary Wink
And seaside i have in mind, town-theme my bad, that the thing i forgot to remember Tongue

Well, than i think "Caipirinha" could be fit, but with some changes in the name:
-> Intense Caipi or something like that

Or, completly different suggeston, how about -> Frog in the Town "Town-Frog"
Because an little frog jumps out from the seaside and visit the town that besides of it Tongue
And a frog is small, and the coaster is compact.

ohhhhh. i think i might go with Cthulhu.

after supporting this thing, the supports are all over the path so im going to change the island thing so the coaster itself is over the water. just leaving the station on the end of the pier

i have done the main bulk of the supports, they just need some connectors to stop them floating around the track. i made the coaster above the sea now, i think it looks much better.
