Peeps not leaving park

#1
Not sure what has occurred but in my sandbox park i have about 669 peeps that refuse to leave the park after i have closed it. I checked all rides to ensure nobody is stuck and that is not the case and i also made sure none of the peeps are stuck in a deadend, etc.

Most of the remaining peeps are standing in one spot or sitting down and most of them are waiting on a group or lost.

Any ideas?

The guest waiting are probably waiting for the lost guest. Manually move the lost guest onto a path.

If i could find them i would, lol. The thing is i have 669 peeps just standing around and of course not all of them are in the same group.

To find the guests, open the park management tab, open the guests tab, select in the top left for individual guests , select just below that the option for status , and then click on status in the middle top.

The list will then display the status of every guest in the park in the order that you choose. You can select the guest individually from this list and then zoom in to their location in your park. Whether you zoom to the guest location or not you can use the tweezers, as Nathan8848 suggested, to reposition the guests.

The game seems to have a built-in quirk in that, depending on the layout of one’s park, there will be one or two path tiles about the park on which grouped guests will get lost for no reason that we can see. Nathan8848 believes these guests are lost and I think so too.

If the guests you need to access are way out in the middle of a multi-level mess of paths, are underground, or are in an area of your park with heavy vegetation temporarily turn off the LOD options so you can better get at the guests.

Also, when emptying parks of guests, quicker more thorough results seem to be more likely if everything in the park is closed in addition to the actual park being closed. If you wish you can set the game for super fast forward to make this happen quickly. It takes much longer for guests to leave the park who have entered through a guest generation point than it does for guests who have entered the park at random along the paths in a park with no guest generation point.

Well i had to manually pick up each person sitting on benches and place them on a path. After that each one ran to their respective party and proceeded to leave the park. It was an odd quirk and what was weird is that the paths and benches were in game items and not CS, which occasionally has quirks.

Yeh, I also noticed the problem before I started using CS. Glad you got the park cleared out.
