Um it's not clear what you are saying. Do you need a reference to a B&M coaster to help you with your designs? If so, just watch some YouTube videos and look at pictures.

yes but id like to see ones which are realistic to be honest i havent been near a real coaster in 30 years so what i may think is really good example but it is not ,i watched silvarretts videos but still hazy on fixing the line between realistic and not so realistic whats a good selection of stunts ,quanities of same, i now have a better handle on the supports ,still looking for ideas on brakefin usage etc on the special items although i figured out i can examine real coasters for ideas,i see named featured stunts which seem to be combos? There is a plethora of choices of rides, and that's the problem i realize each person has different opinion but by looking at all the favorites i figured i could get a better handle on this.

Allways a good thing is to start up and try to recreate Coasters from Rollercoaster-Database (www.rcdb.com).
Use the Data's to know about importent things, like train-size or which Inversions are used on which Coaster-Type.
Then you can try it out with RCT-3. It's all about practice, because sometimes the path between realistic and unrealistic isn't clear.

You wrote that you wachted Silvarret's vids on Youtube. Thats good, because he's one of the best realistic Coaster-Designers RCT has. But there some others on Youtube, too.
search for Re-Build Coasters, some people that can re-create coasters with the complete scenary can create great realistic layouts, too.

All in all, in the end its practice and alot of play around, after awhile you find your way between realistic layouts and personal style.
BtW, sometimes unrealistic coasters can be great aswell!
Terry Inferno wrotes in a build-it thread that he wants atmosphere, and he is right. You can create a unrealistic layout, but with the right atmosphere in it, it can be grand, and maybe a build-it winner.

Most of the time, the reason why unrealistic build-it entries loose is that the creators are only build a layout with a simple station (most of the time without a station) or build to much scenry that doesn't fit with the coaster.

Maybe it could helpful, that you should think about it, what did you like to see in an amusment park.
If you have some ideas, wrote it up. Good coasters are not be build in 1hour or 1day.
Good Coasters, or better realistic ones are be build with a spend of alot of time in it.

If you want to know, which B&M's Creations here on RCTgo are realistic/unrealistic than it could be hard, because everyone here has an personal different opinion about otherones work.

And no one here can say it 100% corretly which coaster is realstic and which isn't!
(it doesn't matter how good this person can build real coasters himself)

Long text, sry for that. but i hope there is something in it that could be helpful for you Wink

Soo long, Cobra
Keep it everytime fair and with enough respect for each other!

Now that is really interesting!?

There is a Member, called "v1210" and he searches for helping things to build realistic B&M's and only two Members give him some infos!

Here are so much "wanna-be" Pro-Designers active (build-it entries as well) and no one of these "Pro's" can give "v1210" a helping Hand!

What a suprise, thats exactly what i thought: posting often how good they are with there coaster-skills (look at my new coaster, blabla) and then, if people/member have specific questions about it, only a few guys try to help.

I agree with Blu, its maybe a bit difficult to know about, what exactly want to know about.
But i think that Cobra give you some infos about it that could help you.

There are some Designers out there with realistic coaster designs besides from "Silvarret"
Take a look at the Threads from "Crzynss", "DiarugaCoasters", "TheMaxster" for example.

"tej121599" has a special style for B&M's, realistic with unique style that isn't realistic sometimes.
His Inverter "Ares" is an example for that. It's basicly realistic, but B&M never build two vertical loops in a row! (ArrowCoasters have two loops in a row, "Double Looper - Double Corkscrew" standart type)
For realistic Coaster-Enthusiasts like me it looks unreal, but sometimes i forget that RCT is only a Game, and in a game the priority should be "FUN" and than other things.

The tip with rcdb works well and the same for youtube videos. Just take a look to Recreations, for some coasters there are alot out there, but only a few are good. so it takes some time to search/find the good ones! If you find the good/great Recreations, than most of the time, these people can create not only Recreations and create real looking coasters, too.

Hope some infos are helpful.
Maybe this post is a push for other members (maybe my little hater-kids here), to give you more infos or other opinions you can work with.
