When I click on RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 in the desktop, it says "Unable to initialize graphics system".

Any thoughts or help? EekConfusedFrown

By reading "Unable to initialize graphics system", I would assume your computer's graphics card is not compatible with the game.

I would try running compatibility mode on your system. Hopefully this will help with your situation.
Here are some forums and other things you may want to look at. It seems like you are not the only one who has issues with that.

oke i resolved my problem, place youre mouse on the RC link then right click , go for porperties last box. local files --> browese local files -->install --> setup. then it works u dont have to change ur screen for resolution." This may or not, but I thought I would give the link for you anyway. I would recommend making a back up of the things on your computer and your system beforetrying any of this, just in case.

First off, I Know this is an OLD Topic. Second, I have the Same Problem. It Ran Fine on My Old Computer but Not My New Computer. IDENTICAL Computers! Except the CPU is 2.5 in the New and a 2.2 in the Old. That is the ONLY Difference!

Tried Changing Compatibility, Screen Res, Uninstalled and Reinstalled. Copy is from AMAZON Not Steam! GC is a NVidia GT520 and OS is Win7.

Does it say the same error that Chima was having years ago or does it say something more along the lines of "failed to initialize?" My Steam copy used to say that but I found a workaround, I'll try to help with your problem this time around though.

I'd have no idea how to help this. I wish I could. Hope you've fixed it!
