[WIP] Cabracán - B&M Terrain Floorless (RCT2+CSO's)

#1
"Cabracán" the "Earthquake Demon" is back.

This time with an RCT2 version and alot of rework on it.
Because the old Layout wasn't realistic enough and had to much shinanigans for an Terrain Coaster.
So i decided to start completly new and let some specials alive, some others died on the long, hard road to sucess. The MCBR is gone, because it was totally pointless on an tterrain coaster.

Short-Infos:
Track-Type: B&M Floorless
Layout-Type: Terrain
Theme: Maya/Aztec

Inversions: 5
- Jojo-Roll (Heartline-Roll)
- Vertical Loop
- Zero-G-Roll
- Immelmann
- Corkscrew

New Layout (reworked):

Sry that i only show you a naked track without any terrainwork.
Most of the terrain has different terrainpaints.
This helps me where i build which structures, paths and other things.
And these red/green/yellow/purple colors blend in too much into the track, so i think its better to see everything from the layout.

Chichén Itzá - Section:

An little example how the buildings/structures could be looks like in the end.
It shows my version of the Pyramid "Chichén Itzá", one of a few structures i'll rebuild for Cabracán.
I use photos from the real Maya Pyramids/Temples and try to convert it into RCT2.
With CSO's and all these 1/8 and 1/16 tiny objects it is possible to add alot of details to become a more interesting and realistic look.
Its not finished, because without the "No Collission" Hack i can't place some objects over each other.
And for a little preview teaser it should be enough, i hope Tongue

The stone/mossy colors are one option, my other color option could be marble/mossy.
Because the use of grey could be have an to medieval look in the end.
At the moment it gives the buildings an older look, with marble/mossy we become an more newer look.

Some architecture infos that i use as inspiration/templates:
- Chichén Itzá
- Tulum Temple Complex
- Templo de los Guerreros
- El Caracol (Maya Observatory)
- Mayan City Palenque

You can google it, than you see which direction my heavy theming is going to be.
In the end, Cabracán had alot of theming interaction combiend with terrain interaction.

Thats it for now, not much but something, right.

Suggestions, Criticsm, Feedback are allways welcome Wink

it has to have a lift hill at some point. how is the car supposed to get from the bottom to the top of the track?

as long as the lift hill is close to the terrain, it will look good

No update, only some test screens:

Currently the whole coaster has the sand terrainpaint for a better and clearly work!
The problem is, that the scenary and structures looking completly different on sand than on the other terrain paints that the coaster have in the end.
So i add some foilage and changed the terrainpaint for an short vegetation test to become a feeling for the finished look.
On one side, Cabracán should be stand out with his orange color, on the other hand he should be hidden between the scenary.
For the Maya Buildings, they should fit into the jungle and not stand out to much to become a natural look.

The second screen shows two pre entrances of the Cabracán Temple Area.
The building below is heavy inspirated from the "Zaculeu Ruins" in Guatemala.
This greeny/mossy thing is a re-version of the RCT3 one that i made with the "Temple of torment" set.
But its hard to find the best objects in RCT2 to become this mossy look that we have in the ToT-CSO.
RCT3 version of this Arch-Entrance:
The face with the amethyst eyes i try to create in RCT2, but im not sure if i can build it good enough.
But i love these eyes and i really want it in RCT2, so i try my best. Smile

The crazy pathway is the endversion, but the stairs on the hill towards to Cabracán will be changed with cso-stairs to become an natural look.
They work with peeps, infact of an invisible path over the cso-stairs Smile.

@SuperMoose93:
no, the lifthill fits not to the terrain, it would be anoption, but than the whole station were underground.
And i dont want a underground station, like "Black Mamba".
But the lifthill is behind the station-temple-complex and over the half is coverd.
Only the top and a part in the middle are free and only the top is seen from the peeps.

Side-Info:
Nemesis and Black Mamba are the coasters that i used as an template to create the terrain layout, infact that Black Mamba doesn't counts as terrain-layout, either heavy themed coaster.

I wanted to create extremly terrain work like Nemesis and combiend it with the heavy theming from Black Mamba. Additional to these in the end it should look like that the coaster is be build how it is in fact that the buildings are there before.

An Amusment park wouldn't demolish old historical buildings only while they want a coaster there.
So the only option is to deal with the scenary and create the coaster between and around the architecture and as an second option, build parts of the track below the existing buildings in the underground.
Thats the background of Cabracán's layout.

Sry that i again wrote a long text and post only two pics.
But i hope the infos helps you to understand why the layout is how it is.

Remember, these were only test screens, but feel free to give feedback about the tree colors.
which colors you like or dont like.
The Vegetation is the last part, so if you have wishes/suggestions about flower colors or other things i should/could add to it -> don't be shy and say it!
If the suggestions fits with my idea of an natural looking jungle, than i'll add it.

Lg Cheleste

Upcoming:
- full terraformed overview screen (layout with landscaping/terrapainting)
- screens of a the temple-station and the other big structures
- the looping/temple-stairs interaction & the immelmann/observatory interaction

Seriously? He can make his threads how he wants. And you took out all the descriptions, which he obviously wanted people to know about. If it wasn't important to him, he wouldn't have put it there either.

Why are you getting so worked up about a small thing? I'm just showing HER(She is a girl look at her accountTongue) that there is a way to improve pictures. I don't understand.[/size]
