Guitarist-To Obtain the Ashes
im really not sure whether or not which one is actually more fun to play
rct3 can get you some realistic lime coasters (sorry for the language but its something i would normally say) BUUUUUUUT the downside of that is that its TEDIOUS and very very time consuming
rct2 is a lot more simple and a lot easier to get your designs down in the game, but youre very limited on options and types of rides and landscaping and cs's
so i think ill be posting some downloads for both games cause not many people post parks and scenarios for rct2 so i hope to change that and if not then itll be more for you guys to choose from at least
cheers

Stop the spread of hate. You feel like the broken one over and over again. You taste blood you're through you're done. Only you can make it end."-Trivium: Broken One

The only version I have played, RCT3 Platinum. My favorite version, because I like the style. However, it wasn't until recently where I saw more designs from RCT1 and RCT2. I think many of the designs are good. In my opinion, I think it's what style you like to use the most. People on this site seem to use different versions. But, I don't know if you can use older creations with the newest version of the game.
I would say RCT2 because it simply has more replay value. RCT3 doesn't favor expansion as much as RCT2 does because guest attraction and profits are much more limited in RCT3; I really have no idea how it was created from the previous two games because it's so much different, you'd think it was part of a different franchise.
Has a very ironic fear of drops
Im thinking of eventually doing a video on the benefits of RCT2 over RCT3, although I do agree that RCT3 us a better game, there are some things that they missed (individual car colours, a haunted house, randomized guests, no lag)
Ill probably make it eventually, so Ill post it on here for you guys
Continue to watch and enjoy!

I'm kind of old school on games. I prefer game play over graphics - to a degree. I guess the exception to that would be my preference for Railroad Tycoon 3 over Railroad Tycoon 2. The game play lost in RT3 wasn't that big of a deal breaker for me, although there were a few things in RT2 that I wish they would have carried over to RT3.
I do prefer RCT 2 over RCT 3. Even though the graphics were a nice improvement, for me - too much of the game play was sacrificed.
I think, and this is just my thoughts, is that when they're developing a new version of a game and start to improve graphics, the bean counters still want the game out the door just as fast so it will start bringing home the bacon. Plus it's probably a feasible thought that in order to include new, improved graphics and game play it would really hit a system hard in regards to resources: processor, graphics card/chip, etc. So they might dial it back a bit on game play to keep the game playable to the masses.
