saw this video. it is claiming to be new footage of RCT world, it looks like RCTW, but i am not sure if its 100% official (looks like it though)
it doesnt look very impressive. i am hoping it is bad park building by a dev that isnt doing it any justice
Saw this earlier today. I've officially lost all hope for any new RCT games.

Until I see actual gameplay, I'm sticking to 2 and 3. I'm letting others waste their money first. That "trailer" did not impress me at all.
I come around when i feel like it

Guys, please stop drawing huge conclusions. The roller coasters in the game are just for showing purposes. They have already stated that RCT World will not rely heavily on prebulit elements and track pieces meaning that you can probably build realistic roller coasters in RCT World kinda like Theme Park Studio. This is a huge improvement. It has better looking graphics than roller coaster tycoon 3 and it looks like they actually took their time to create a product better than roller coaster tycoon 3.

How important is this title anyway?
^It looks like they created a product better than RCT3 was at launch, but RCT3 (and to a lesser extent RCT/RCT2) is community driven at this point and has become more than anything Atari could have hoped for. Also, if the coasters are just for showing purposes, they should show what the new design engine does instead of things that we can already build in RCT3 while telling us how much more it can do.
RCT World looks like a modern version of Theme Park World/Sim Theme Park so far, and I'm not holding out hope that it might be anything more than that.
