Thorpe is starting to take their rides to the next level....although there's still a way to go.Ill be there at the gates March 15 to ride Stealth....then to Alton, Drayton Manor, and Blackpool Pleasure Beach, obviously not in one day.....im just a Hardcore G-Force Junkie.
Anouncement....Thorpe Parks new ride was officially named today.Guess what it was called S.T.E.A.L.T.H I thought they should of stuck with that name.....and they did.lol
Looks like a goodun!
Anyone else signed up for the 'ride it first' draw?
No....im going on the 17th March, so i'll wait till then....
Anyway.....the anticipation of the ride itself is more daunting than a ride on the detonator.Im sooooooo looking forward to riding it, in less than a months time i might add. This year ill be getting a Tussauds annual pass. That way ill save myself some dough, and visit my homeland without the fear of financial constraints.Ill submit my review soon after ive ridden on the beast.
I get to ride Stealth tomorrow(Friday 17th) i'll give my review then.
Ive also aquired an Annual pass which has cost me £85.I'll reckon i will save myself at least £200 over the year. This gives me access to Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Chessington etc:All year round.Lucky G- Man.
I dont wanna be accused of Double Posting, but ive gotta get this update in.THE FLYING FISH which was dismantled to make way for Stealth, will be making its way back to Thorpe in 2007 situated between the Tidal Wave and Depth Charge in Neptunes Kingdom. The theming is perfect for the area.....there will be no changes in the layout....only the inlcusion of On-ride photos. There will apparently be an inclusion of a High Capacity Ride situated in Amity Cove....Where i dont know.Speculation has still been circulating about the 2008 coaster, which is supposed to be a Wooden or Flying Inverter, although some reports say it might be put back to 2009.....filling of the lakes will also continue.
Me personally, dont want Thorpe to hold back this coaster for another year, 3 years is a long time to wait, and the peeps want more.To have 4 World class coasters would really be something.I would love a billionaire like Roman Abramovich to independantly buy Thorpe(Not Alton or Chessington) and go to town with this park, making it one of the best parks around. But will it happen, i think not.......but, you never know.
Ive just come back from Thorpe again today, and what a great day ive had, the weather has perfect.....and listen to this, and this is a first for me, ALL the rides were running at FULL capacity, and there were NO downtime on any rides, including the 2 main culprits Stealth and Rush.I was also treated to a great show in the arena with a mixture of breakdancing, Rollerblading, BMX Tricks, and some highly skilled Motorbikes.Thorpe is deffinatly the place to be this summer.AND im going again next Tuesday. My 4th time. Its ok when youre an Annual Pass Holder.ROCK N ROLLLLLLLLLL
