So remember I was having that trouble with the save button not working a while ago?
Well I did some more trial and error, and found it was the name that was the problem
I then found it wasn't the length of the coaster name, but the fact that they all had colons in them
When I deleted the colons I was able to save
So this is a warning that coasters in RCT2 WILL NOT save if their name contains a colon, and I have not tried it out yet, but I am guessing there are also other symbols which cause this problem, so if this ever happens to someone, take out the things that arent letters or numbers

Yes. I found this happens when attempting to save newly created scenarios, as well.

RCT2 crashes quite a bit for me too, I know your problem. But I don't know how to fix it

Chima I dont have a problem, its not crashing
Simply I realized when there is a colon in the coaster name, it wont let you save the design
