RCT3 How to populate an area of a park?

#1
First post here...

I've been working on a park for about a week now. However, something really grinds my gears. There are two sides of the park, and the right side is more populated than the other (even though I built the left side at the beginning!) Only 100-200 peeps go to that side of the park which contains a bunch of thrill rides and two coasters. The other side has a dueling coaster with less thrill rides than the left side. I tried adding a bunch of rides and such, but almost nobody goes there (I have about 900 peeps in my park.) How can I convince them to go there?

Peeps in RCT3 are incredibly frustrating, the best way to bring them over to the other side of the park is to have some kind of transport ride taking them back and forth from right to left, i.e. Monorail, Railroad, Trams, Chairlift

well you could balance the flat rides out [a dueling coaster is two tracks so your technically ok on that note] mean both junior and thrill rides throughout both sections, might help

peeps tend to ride newer stuff too, try building a new ride back on the left side

I find that putting the more popular booths in the game (drinks, coffee, sunscreen) into the lesser populated areas of the parks usually does the trick. Service booths (info, first aid) near the front, and Item booths (T-shirts, hats, souvenirs, etc) in the more populated areas. The peeps may not always want to buy items, but will always buy food and drinks, so that should lure them over to the less populated areas. Hope this helps. I usually does the trick for me.

I have noticed to when I use transportation (like the trams), the peeps seem to go to more areas of the park. So I agree with naveisawesome statement. It's worth trying. But there were other good suggestions to.
