Hi again everyone! I've been trying to work on my Let's Play park however I've been running into significant difficulty as my game loves to keep crashing while I'm working. This in turn atom-smashes my current recording, although I've been able to save some of the work by saving every two-seconds like a lunatic lol.
Anyways I think the problem is due to the amount of CS I have downloaded, if anyone has any other suggestions as to resolve this problem I'd appreciate it because I really don't want to delete my CS

how big is the park and how much cs have you put into it? once you put so much cs and rides and all the peeps come it itll get really laggy and crash.....

I just started it, I barely have anything so I don't think that is the case

It could be a wrongly installed mod. Do the crashes happen when you're trying to browse through your scenery, or at random times?
To determine it's the mods that cause problems, run RCT3 vanilla. Remove all your mods (make sure to back them up!) and see if it still crashes. If it does the problem lies elsewhere, if it doesn't then it's a mod that crashes your game.
This starts off a long and tedious process that is certainly the most boring thing you'll be doing aside from waiting for updates - debugging.
Basically you start off deleting the first half of your mods (make sure to back them up!) and run the game. Does it crash? The bug is in one of the mods you did not delete. Does it not crash? The bug is in the mods you deleted.
Next you delete half of the mods from the group where the bug is (make sure to back them up!) and reinstall the next, and so on. This goes on until you found the mod that crashes your game.
This could take you pretty much all day considering you've got a million mods, but if the problem lies in your mods, it's well worth to take out the bad seed.
What does this button do...?
Oh, oh dear!

I think it's just the amount of CS that is bogging the game down, ever since I downloaded Silvarret's entire Themed folder (which about doubled my already sizeable amount of CS) the game was laggy and even began loading slowly to the main menu. I did begin to debug but I found that simply deleting some of the CS I wasn't using lightened the load.
After about an hour of troubleshooting/debugging/whateveryouwanttocallit I think I have mostly resolved the issue. I was at least able to keep the park open long enough to record the rest of Episode 2 for my Let's Play. I have no idea if it will still crash, although in the twenty minutes or so that I was recording/working I had no performance issues.
Thanks for the help!

I know this is kinda a bump (not nearly as bad as most others and it's my own thread so I hope it's fine). The crashing on my RCT3 couldn't be resolved and as I go back to school tomorrow I won't be able to keep working on it. Therefore I won't be back on the RCT3 scene for at least a month and a half, I may just pick up the Steam version of it eventually if I can't get the disk to work again.

The Steam version is the same, I'd just rather have it connected to my Steam library.
